2025 PORK LINKS EVENT: EACH YEAR IN OCTOBER THE MPPC HOLDS AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR THE PRODUCERS ACROSS THE STATE. THIS YEAR'S PORK LINKS EVENT HIGHLIGHTED SWINE HEALTH, THE BOAR STUD SITE, AND AN UPDATE FROM NATIONAL PORK PRODUCERS COUNCIL.
2025 ANNUAL MEETING: EACH YEAR IN JANUARY THE MPPC HOSTS ITS ANNUAL MEETING AND TRADE SHOW IN GREAT FALLS. SPEAKERS REVOLVED AROUND THE TOPIC OF LOOKING AT THE SWINE INDUSTRY BEYOND THE FARM GATE, AND THE NATIONAL SWINE HEALTH STRATEGY. THERE WERE 35 VENDORS FOR THE PRODUCERS TO ENGAGE WITH.
IN 2025, THE MPPC HELD A LEADR TRAINING FOR THE BOARD MEMBERS. LUCY RUSSELL WITH NPPC WALKED THROUGH A QUICK CIVICS LESSON AND THE PRODUCERS GOT THE CHANCE TO ROLE PLAY TALKING TO CONGRESSMEN ON DIFFERENT TOPICS AND CREATE A 30 SECOND ELEVATOR SPEECH FOR THEIR CONVERSATIONS IN WASHINGTON DC.
