- $3,755 spent. To best explain the nature of achievements that are not measurable in a conventional way are as follows: During the past year there have been several changes in the effectiveness of this organization, Covid-19 related, and the local lock downs of public venues and events, with all of the complexities and concerns that accompany such an unforeseen situation. This was done out of consideration for the availability of personnel, resources, series availability, a large and ever growing Russian Speaking Population, that is in need of our services and programs, as well as a large and more active support base. During this same time period, we are working to improve and enlarge an already existing presence on the websites, on several forms of social media accounts, and to collect and organize vintage literature of cultural relevance to our clients and purposes. These same resources are made available for our client's use as needed, and as applicable, to be able to research and to deliver relevant and accurate information as required.
- $5,845 spent. Other Program Services Accomplishments Part III, Line 4d This program and services component that was developed to assist our clients as a direct result of the Covid-19 mitigation efforts for those who are elderly, speak no English, and have no access to transportation or are home-bound due to illness, or due to Covid-19 related lock-downs. Even after the restrictions were removed, these specific client's lives did not improve much, since they have no one to help them. These needed services were provided by volunteers free of charge to the recipient clients, who were in desperate need of these services, that included: Emergency Elderly Assistance, Food prep, food delivery, Medication pickup and delivery, rides to doctor's appointments, other necessary services for the disabled and elderly clients as needed, based on resource availability. Since these individuals are usually low income, and have no English proficiency, and have no friends or relatives able to help them locally or none at all, these individuals were and are unable to obtain or get assistance through or at any of the local mainstream service providers.
