Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $15,056 spent. DURING THE OREGON COAST MILITARY MUSEUM'S OPERATIONS IN THE YEAR 2024, THE FACILITY REDISIGNED CURRENT EXHITIONS, EXPERIENCES, AND EVENTS TO ENGAGE THE WIDER PUBLIC AUDIENCE AS THE MUSEUM'S PRESENCE HAS SPREAD TO NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES.AS STATED LAST YEAR, THE MUSEUM IS STILL WORINING TOWARD RELOCATION OF THE FACITIY; FIRST STEPS HAVE BEEN MADE BY PURCHASING A NEW METAL FRAME BUILING TO BE CONSTRUCTED. DISPLAYS HAVE BEEN REWORKED TO BE MORE KID FRIENDLY. EFFORTS TO CREATE A VETERAN COMMUNITY CENTER HAVE BEEN SLOWER THAN ANTICIPATED, HOWEVER PROGRESS IS BEING MADE WITH OTHER GROUPS.SOME OF THE OCMM'S GOALS FOR 2025 IS TO CONTINUE EFFORTS TO FUNDRAISE FOR THE PLANNED RELOCATION DUE TO THE CURRENT FACILTY LIMITING OUR EFFORTS TO EXPAND EDUCATON AND HONORING OF VETERANS. ADDITIONAL WORK WILL BE MADE TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND WORK RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL VETERANS AND EXPAND AVAILABLE PROGRAMS. PARTNERSHIPS WITH CHILDREN BASED ORGANIZATIONS ARE ALSO IN THE WORKS AND WILL HOPEFULLY HAVE RESULTS BY THE END OF 2025.
