Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $9,546 spent. Our second biggest event is our annual Spring Carnival that brings together parents students extended family and staff. This event benefits those mentioned because it fosters a sense of community.
  2. $3,744 spent. A annual evening event that brings students staff and families out for a movie night with food vendors. This also fosters a sense of family and community.
  3. $3,417 spent. We put together a Holiday Store during the month of December where all students in the school can come and shop for the holidays for their loved ones. We even gift wrap their items. The students feel a sense of independence as they are able to choose gifts as they see fit for their family. This event fosters a sense of giving and independence which is beneficial to the students teachers and family.
  4. $3,158 spent. Celebrate and appreciate the staff at McMillin by providing a staff appreciation day lunch that falls in line with teacher appreciation week.
