Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $202,400 spent. THE ORGANIZATION FROM ITS CONCEPTION FOCUSED ON ASSISTING RECOVERING DRUG USERS WITH COPING MECHANISMS TO CONTINUE SOBRIETY ON A DAILY BASIS. THIS IS OUR FIRST REQUIRED FILING. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT WAS THE PARTNERING WITH THE VENDOR PROVIDING CONCESSION STAND COVERAGE WITHIN THE TWO MAIN SPORTS ARENAS IN THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS. TO SUPPORT NON PROFIT ACTIVITY WITHIN OUR CITY THE VENDORS ALLOW NON PROFITS TO PROVIDE THE CONCESSION STAND SERVICES (SELL FOOD AND BEVERAGE, ETC.). WE PROVIDE VETTED VOLUNTEERS TO WORK THE STANDS (CEASARS SUPERDOME AND SMOOTHIE KINGS ARENA) DURING EVENTS AND PROVIDE A STIPEND THAT ALLOWS THEM TO PAY FOR FOOD, SHELTER, NON FOOD ITEMS (SOAP, DEODORANT, ETC.). THIS PROGRAM HAS REALLY GIVEN US A BOOST IN REVENUE SOURCE AND WILL ALLOW US TO EXPAND THE AMOUNT OF SERVICES PROVIDED TO OUR CLIENTS.
