Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- $1,000 spent. The Uvalde Rotary club elected to participate in the Fredericksburg, Texas Rotary Club's International community service project to provide clean and safe water to school children attending local schools in Tanzania, Africa. Our club contributed $1,000 to the project.
- $600 spent. The Uvalde Rotary Club adopted a community service project to raise funds to build a Splash Pad at the Jardin De Los Heroes municipal city park. Our clubs members researched and met with area municipalities to learn about and understand the functionality of a splash pad. Members traveled to Pearsall, Fredericksburg, Del Rio, and Eagle Pass, Texas to meet with city officials and visit each city's splash pad site. Members invested and educated themselves on the complexities of building and operating of a splash pad. Our club heard presentations from four different vendors each offering their expertise in designing and building a splash pad for our community. To further our goal, our club sponsored an application to the Internal Revenue Service to establish a nonprofit organization as allowed by IRS Code Section 501(c)(3)for the purpose of encouraging tax deducitble contributions in support of the project and the necessary building cost. Our club approved the required $600 application fee to the Internal Revenue Service necessary to submit Form 1023, Application for Tax Exempt Status. IRS apporoved our application and issued a Determination Letter to the Uvalde Rotary Benevolent Fund on May 7, 2024.
- $1,000 spent. For many years, the Uvalde Rotary Club has sponsored our local high school girls volleyball tournament, the Rotary Rendezvous Volleyball Tournament in August of every year. The club donates $1,000 to the Uvalde Consolidated School District to be utilized in the girls volleyball program. Our club members attend the tournament, assist with organizing the hospitality room by providing food and drinks to the participating team coaches and players. Our members invest time and funds when necessary to adequately stock the hospitality room. Club members man the door and collect the admission fees to the tournament to be remitted to the Uvalde Consolidated School District.
- The Uvalde Rotary Club participated in the Texas Hill Country River Region Trash Bash and River Cleanup Project in Sepember 2023 along the Frio River on ConCan, Texas. Our team was victourious by picking up the most trash by weight and recieved an award of $360 for our efforts.
- Kaboom!, whose mission is to provide safe and inspiring playgrounds for all children regardless of ethnicity and socioeconomic backgrounds, funded and supervised the building of multiple playgrounds in the City of Uvalde's municipal parks and Anthon Elementary School playground. Our clubs members participated in the planning and construction of the playground projects.
