For more than 40 years, CIS-SA has worked directly on school campuses across Bexar County and surrounding communities, addressing the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that can prevent students from reaching their full potential. Today, CIS-SA serves more than 10,000 students annually through intensive case management, mental health and school-based support services.

Working in partnership with 13 school districts and more than 140 community organizations, CIS-SA creates a network of support that helps students overcome barriers, build resilience, and develop the skills needed for lifelong success. By addressing the whole child and strengthening connections between schools, families, and communities, CIS-SA helps ensure that students not only stay in school, but also thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
