Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $490,619 spent. Since opening in 2008 with the Frances Langford "Our Town" Wing which included four main exhibits; a grocery store a traditional Floridian cracker house, a wellness center and a beach themed toddler area, the museum has added over 20 new exhibits and still has 3 major exhibits for the Bank of America explorer gallery wing. The Museum is confident it is embraced by the Treasure Coast community, having exceeded expectations and fulfilled a much needed niche in the cultural and non-profit family. The Children's Museum educational community outreach programs have become a valuable asset to all schools within Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee, and North Palm Beach Counties. The Museum welcomes over 70,000 visitors annually and over 5,000 students participate each in the Museum's classroom based educational programs.
