Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Programs described in its return (3)
- $5,110 spent. WMS provided 2 series of In-school discovery and interactive concerts for the 6 local elementary schools in partnership with the Symphony of the Americas. These concerts are held in full assemblies reaching all students from each school. The purpose is to introduce young students to all the instruments of the traditional orchestra and to the role they play in all types of music they listen to or could discover further. Another goal is to raise their interest for music programs when they go to middle and high school.
- WMS awards annual scholarships to senior students graduating from high school and pursuing music or performing arts education in higher studies. WMS collaborates with performing arts teachers from two local high schools to identify students with outstanding musicianship achievements. The selected students are honored at City Hall during an official City Commission meeting as well as in local press and on social media. WMS maintains communication with the students to support their future achievements.
- WMS assists two middle school and two high school band programs by providing annual grant donations to help with instrument maintenance costs. WMS establishes meaningful relationships with these programs including local chapters of the triM Music Honors Society to continue supporting music education for students and families in the community.
