- $1.5 million spent. In 2024, Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) provided life-changing equine-assisted programs for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Through therapeutic riding, occupational therapy with horses, mental health services, and our Mini Horse Therapy Program, NTRC delivered more than 9,000 hours of service to nearly 700 participants. NTRC is proud to be the only PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Collier County and one of the few centers in Florida to compensate instructors, ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and care. Our strong reputation is reflected in maintaining a 4- star Charity Navigator rating, placing us among the nations top-rated nonprofits. The centers work is powered by approximately 500 volunteers contributing 15,000 hours annually, valued at nearly half a million dollars. This vital support, combined with annual grants from the Naples Children & Education Foundation (Wine Festival) and The League Club, and corporate partnership with Arthrex, ensures our programs remain accessible to families in need. Community engagement continues to grow through signature fundraising events, including the Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance and Kentucky Derby Party, which provide essential resources to sustain and expand services. NTRC is widely regarded across Florida and the U.S. as a leader in equine-assisted services, transforming lives and strengthening community connections through every rider, volunteer, and supporter who joins our mission.
