What it says it does
Madison Street Festival Inc. is a non-profit organization made up of community volunteers who plan and organize a FREE one-day event held in the City of Madison. This event is family-orientated and promotes businesses and organizations. We provide entertainment, craft vendors, artists, businesses, and food vendors. There is a parade, children's area, teen area, and a few other special exhibits. We are a true family event. Program support includes grants to educational-based organizations within our community. These grants are awarded based on applications each year. We have also served as a financial sponsor for our Madison high school leaders in planning and executing an event similar to ours. We work with the City of Madison school district to provide needed items in a "Stuff the Bus" campaign and we have worked with the downtown area in a few extra events providing crafts for children.
