THE EFFORTS INCLUDE OUTREACH TO RURAL SUBURBAN & URBAN YOUTH. THE DICKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU ASSISTS IN MANNING & FUNDING AN AG FIELD DAY WHERE 4TH GRADE STUDENTS GET TO SEE HOW IMPORTANT AG IS TO EVERYDAY LIFE AND TO EDUCATE THEM ON WHERE THEIR FOOD AND FIBER COMES FROM. THE DICKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU SPONSORS THE 4-H JR STEER SHOW AND THE POSTER AND ESSAY CONTEST AND DONATES TO TEH COUNTY FFA CHAPTERS. DICKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU ALSO GIVES 2 AGRICULTURE SCHLORSHIPS TO STUDENTS WHO ARE PURSUING AGRICULTURE DEGREES.
