Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

This return does not answer enough of the governance questions to score.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Florida Ag Literacy Reading Day is a program Clay County Farm Bureau participates in to bring agricultural education into the classroom of K-6 grade students. Our volunteers read the current Ag Literacy book and share items such as small farm animals, plants, vegetables, and other food and fiber commodities. This year our volunteers attended the Clay Literacy Reading Night, where they were able to distribute the current Ag Literacy book to both teachers and students.
  2. Ag Town was created by Clay County Farm Bureau members in collaboration with the Clay County Fair Organization, UF IFAS, Clay County Extension, and Clay County Cattelmen's. This is a program that conincided with the 10 days of the county fair. All attendees to the fair had the opportunity to learn about livestock, horiculture, and dairy production through hands on activities. Approximately 800 students participated in Ag Venture field trips to Ag Town.
  3. Clay County Farm Bureau Showdown in the Springs Swine Show at the Clay County Fairgrounds brought 200 participants. Program volunteers included Clay County Farm Bureau members, IFAS, Cattlemen's, FFA, and 4-H members. Youth participants entered this show to compete for best market hog and showmanship. It was an opportunity for youth to learn best management practices (feeding programs, medical care, grooming, housing and finances) for the care of swine from birth to show day.
