Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $826,691 spent. Habitat works in partnership with families in need of adequate shelter to build simple, decent homes. The homes are then sold to Habitats partner families, at no profit and with no interest charged. Partner families invest hundreds of hours of their own labor into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund For Humanity that is used to build more homes.
  2. $534,250 spent. The Lakeland Habitat For Humanity ReStore is a home improvement center that sells quality new and recycled items at a fraction of the common cost. Over the past thirteen years, the ReStore has recycled thousands of tons of material, keeping it out of our local landfills and ReStore proceeds go back into building new Habitat houses.
