Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. The National Employment Law Council (NELC), comprised of 389 members nationwide, manages and presents one annual national conference. This Annual Conference is held during the spring of each year, usually at the end of April or the beginning of May. The first conference was held in Chicago in 1995, and since has been held in Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Denver. Of the attendees, each conference has usually represented a breakdown of approximately 40 percent in-house and 60 percent outside counsel. In addition to in-house and outside counsel, NELC's Annual Conferences are regularly attended by federal judges, members of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The annual conference enables the NELC to accomplish its purpose through the following: Education - providing continuing legal education programs to enhance the substantive knowledge of the members; facilitating the introduction of practitioners to each other; Communication - providing a communication medium for the exchange of ideas, career, and other networking opportunities; Employers - providing a mechanism for corporate and institutional employers to identify members to serve as their outside counsel; Members - providing opportunities for members to develop and present their experience and knowledge through speaking and writing engagements; and Mentoring - providing mentoring to emerging management-side labor and employment attorneys.
