Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $5.0 million spent. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, the South Carolina Research Foundation (SCRF) continued to operate in support of the University of South Carolina by administering research-related contracts, agreements, and affiliated program activities. Consistent with the continued maturation of the University's internal research administration and financial infrastructure, certain activities historically administered by SCRF are increasingly being performed directly by the University or through other affiliated University entities. SCRF's role during the year remained focused on supporting existing agreements, ensuring continuity of operations, and fulfilling contractual and fiduciary responsibilities associated with those activities. This transition reflects the evolving alignment of research administration functions within the University's organizational structure and does not impact SCRF's commitment to compliance, financial stewardship, and support of the University's research mission.
