Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $116,056 spent. The sanctuary, over the past twenty-five years, averages between 75-105 rescued animals. Each year the cost of providing food and medical care to the animals increases as well as the repair and maintenance of their shelters. We continue to offer pet food assitance to low-income households and refer same to other organizations if medical assistance is needed. This assistance allows the household to keep their animal. Voluteers continue to provide educational programs for school children and others, teaching responsbile ownership and compassion. Having school groups involced and being open to the public provides the opportunity to become familiar with farm animals allowing all to see that farm animals have the same emotions and require compassion as domestic animals.
