Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $20,420 spent. Shabbat dinners--we serve over 80 free shabbat dinners to students every-other week during the school year. These dinners draw a wide variety of students and allow us to celebrate shabbat as a community.
- $5,322 spent. Jewish student engagement--Every year we engage hundreds of Jewish students on campus in order to connect them to each other and to their Jewish heritage and identity. We host events that educate our students, allow them to create Jewish ritual items, and serve them kosher and Jewish ethnic food.
- $3,942 spent. Jewish Learning--Every year we host dozens of Jewish learning opportunities for students. We host ongoing classes, like the Jewish Learning Fellowship, and one-time classes that teach UAlbany students about Jewish traditions and history.
