What it says it does

The Firemen's Relief Association is incorporated under the laws of Kansas for the purpose of receiving, using and disbursing funds for the benefit of the members of the Association or their designated beneficiaries. The Association purchases life insurance, disability insurance, and annuity contracts on the firemen. This insurance is provided to the firemen in case of being injured or physically disabled while performing their duties as a firefighter. The Association also provides for the payment of a death benefit when any member is killed in the performance of his duties as a firefighter.
