Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (5)
  1. $34,061 spent. We donated funds to the Bend FFA Chapter for the students to use to attend FFA Competitions and conventions throughout the school year, as well as for the Chapter to purchase supplies as needed to support the programs offered to the kids. This mostly benefits the most active 50 FFA members (students), however there are about 200 total members between all agricultural classes and even the slightly active kids reap the benefits of the funds donated.
  2. $4,423 spent. We donated funds to the Greenhouse ASB at Mountain View High School, which is run by an FFA affiliated class for students. Funds are used primarily to run the Greenhouse each year and facilitate a plant sale at the end of each school year. Approximately 25 students benefit from this program.
  3. $1,594 spent. We help supply food and meals each year at events for the students, primarily the yearly Welcome Back Bend FFA Chapter event, the end of school year Bend FFA Chapter BBQ, the end of school year Bend FFA Awards Dinner, local FFA competitions with other schools, and the yearly FFA State Convention. Depending on attendance of the events, 25-60 kids were benefited.
  4. $371 spent. Gifts for graduating Seniors
  5. $3,250 spent. Grants and Scholarships provided directly to various students in the Bend FFA
