Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $1.2 million spent. GIVEN THE RESTRICTIVE GUIDELINES AND THE FISCAL CONSTRAINTS OF OUR PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OFTEN DO NOT RECEIVE THE INTENSIVE, REPETITIVE SERVICES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO REALIZE EVEN A MODEST VERSION OF THEIR UNDERLYING OUTCOME POTENTIAL. THIS DILEMMA IS COMPLICATED EVEN FURTHER SINCE MEDICAL INSURANCE COMPANIES CONTINUE TO REDUCE THEIR BENEFITS SUPPORTING MEDICAL THERAPIES FOR DISABLED CHILDREN. AS A RESULT, ONLY WEALTHY FAMILIES ARE TYPICALLY CAPABLE OF PURSUING SPECIALIZED PRIVATE SCHOOLING AND TREATMENT FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THE ERIN IS HOPE FOUNDATION, INC. IS DETERMINED TO PROVIDE THESE ESSENTIAL MEDICAL AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AT RATES THAT ALLOW ACCESSIBILITY FOR MANY FAMILIES. THIS YEAR, ERIN IS HOPE PROVIDED FULL-DAY AND HALF-DAY SCHOOL SERVICES. FIRST ACCOMPLISHMENT In addition to the delivery of intensive, medical speech, occupational, physical and behavioral therapies to 148 pediatric patients with severe communicative, motor, behavioral, sensory and social disabilities, we also provided direct 1 to 1 specialized special educational instruction at remarkably reduced rates. Indeed, we charged our families less than the cost of weekly daycare for direct, daily 1 to1 pull-out or classroom instruction. Not only do deductibles and co-pays continue to present obstacles to treatment, the high costs of inflation have seriously challenged our young parents. Without significant charitable assistance, their children would simply be unable to attend. Families from every diverse racial, cultural, economic and religious demographic discover our special mission of outstanding services provided at affordable prices. In 2024, we served an increasing number of children with little or no ability to pay. In 2024, our Gifts for Erin and Matching Dollar scholarship gifts provided over 1,176,400 in charitable medical therapies and charitable special educational services. Additional Accomplishment In 2024, the Wheat State Falcons sponsored their annual car show benefiting Erin Is Hope. This 16th annual event was the most successful yet, raising over 21,000 for the Foundations Gifts for Erin scholarship fund. In fall 2024, the Beach Family Foundation honored Erin Is Hope with a 25,000 grant for the scholarship fund.
