- THE ASSOCIATION OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERS SOCAL, INC. (THE ASSOCIATION) HOLDS TWO EVENTS PER CALENDAR YEAR. THESE TWO EVENTS ARE ALL OF THE ASSOCIATIONS ACTIVITIES. EACH EVENT IS A CONFERENCE STYLE EVENT THAT LASTS THREE TO FOUR DAYS. THE PURPOSE OF EACH EVENT IS TO EDUCATE MEMBERS IN AND ENGAGE IN DIALOGUE ABOUT TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP. EVENT PARTICIPANTS ARE INDIVIDUALS OF SIGNIFICANT INFLUENCE IN ARTISTIC, ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, POLITICAL, CORPORATE, HUMAN POTENTIAL/ DEVELOPMENT AND HUMANITARIAN ENDEAVORS WHO ARE DEVOTED TO DOING TRANSFORMATIONAL WORK IN THEIR PERSPECTIVE FIELDS. THE EVENTS PROVIDE A PLACE FOR THESE LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS TO MEET AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES OF THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE. EVENTS INCLUDE SOME COMBINATION OF ACTIVITIES SUCH AS, GROUP LECTURES, GUEST SPEAKERS, EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, GROUP LEARNING ACTIVITIES, TEAM BUILDING AND MEMBER RECOGNITION DINNERS AS A MEANS OF FURTHERING THE ASSOCIATIONS PURPOSE. EACH EVENT AND THE ACTIVITIES IN EACH EVENT ARE UNIQUE. THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS TWO CONFERENCES ANNUALLY. IN 2024, WE HAD TWO CONFERENCES, BOTH IN PERSON, IN WHICH MEMBERS ENGAGED IN LECTURES, WORKSHOPS AND DISCUSSION ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS: "HUMANITY RISING" (CHANGING AND CHAOTIC TIMES) SPRING 2024 AND "REMEMBER & RENEW" (REMEMBERING AND RENEWING: DEEPENING ATL CONNECTION THROUGH AUTHENTICITY.) FALL 2024. PAST EVENTS/ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PRESENTATIONS ON: DYING TO BE ME, IDENTITY LEADERSHIP, HOW TO USE THE 8 TOOLS OF IMPROV, MUSIC THAT HONORS LEGACY AND SHAPES OUR FUTURE, THE ADVENTURE OF HAPPINESS, MUSIC AS A TOOL OF INSIGHT AND HAPPINESS, ADVENTURES IN CREATIVITY: EXPLORING THE WORLD IN MINIATURE, ACCELERATED INTELLIGENCE: USING ROBOTS TO BECOME MORE HUMAN, TRANSFORMATIVE JUSTICE, THE WORLD NEEDS MORE HEROS, WHAT IS HUMANITY, YOU ARE HUMAN, EVERY PICTURE TELLS YOUR STORY, ART AS A VEHICLE, INCLUSIVENESS, SOUL- MASCULINITY & ME TOO, HOW TO TELL YOUR STORY, THE HEALING POWER OF MUSIC, COURAGEOUS CULTURAL CONVERSATIONS, UNITE AND MOVE, TRANSFORMING CRISES INTO MIRACLES, COMING HOME TO OUR VOICES, LETTING GO INTO SACRED FIRE, GROUNDING OUR INTENTIONS, PARENTING OLIVER A JOURNEY TO LIVING AUTHENTICALLY WITH HIS NEW NORM, STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION, THE ORDER IN CHAOS, THE GIFTED WISDOM OF UNPLEASANT FEELINGS, NECESSARY CONDITIONS FOR ANTI FRAGILE CIVILIZATION, USING YOUR VOICE FOR CHANGE, FROM SETBACK TO COMEBACK, SPIRAL DYNAMICS, DISRUPTION INTEGRATION, DIPLOMACY DISRUPTED: HOW WE CAN HELP PROMOTE WORLD PEACE AND PROSPERITY AND THE BLOCKCHAIN MINDSHIFT.
