Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

They provided an average of approximately $500 to each of these families. Heartfelt Help Foundation received a $5,000 grant that supported 5 families in Northern California to offset the burden of expenses incurred during the post-transplant process. These funds provided support approximately $1,000 to each of these families. Off the List received a $5,000 grant that supports patients on the kidney transplant list and their families with the tools needed to find living donors.
  2. $29,073 spent. Donation Awareness and Education: The purpose of this program is to increase public awareness of living and deceased organ donation through seminar sponsorship and outreach to public and private organizations both locally and nationally. This tax year, we granted $25,000 or 36% of Total Grants to five organizations to support organ donation awareness. The most significant of these, $12,000, was granted to one organization. Student Organ Donation Advocates (SODA) received a $12,000 grant to build and support student-led chapters on high school and college campuses across the United States.
