Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $80,295 spent. Flower City Work Camp - this annual work camp mobilizes churches into service in the community by uniting youth in 7th-12th grades to work on fixing up homes, hosting sidewalk clubs for neighborhood kids, putting on sports camps for neighborhood teens, and sending agency support teams to do service projects for other area non-profits.
  2. $2,713 spent. Link Youth Mentorship - this ministry unites men from local area churches with youth in the city to provide mentorship, guidance and assistance as these young men grow up. Mentors are background checked and trained before being matched with a young man and each commit to a minimum of 1 year working together in the mentorship program.
  3. $2,884 spent. FCWC Weekend Edition - this ministry takes the Flower City Work Camp activity of fixing up homes and applies it during single-day service opportunities on a weekend. Homes receive 8 hours of project work with an approximate $500 budget for materials.
