Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $47,779 spent. The Alpha Rho Chapter Alumni Association (APCAA) continues to engage with multi-generational alumni to successfully raise funds for advancing our mission of uplifting young men through educational access by way of the BOLD Scholarship. In 2025 we launched the Donors Society, recognizing key alumni supporters and introduced commemorative items for sale such as the Alpha Rho ChapBadge and ceremonial granite bricks. Responding to rising tuition costs, APCAA awarded two BOLD Scholarships, providing a total of $20,000 in direct financial assistance to two meritorious incoming freshmen selected through a competitive application process. APCAA continues to renew its commitment to active alumni engagement through the revitalization of the Brother-to-Brother Mentorship Network, pairing active alumni with current students across disciplines and industries. Through alumni engagement, strategic fundraising, and historical preservation, APCAA continues to expand its impact while strengthening support for the next generation of Alpha Rho brothers and the Morehouse College community.
  2. $20,000 spent. Granted two $10K BOLD scholarships to two incoming freshmen.
