Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $38,316 spent. AIR activities in 2025 included assistance in safely transporting coyotes rescued from the cruel confines of a urine farm to the safety of a wildlife sanctuary near San Antonio. We also supported law enforcement in a cockfighting case involving 96 live roosters. AIR volunteers and staff helped a long-time partner with over 500 Maltese saved from the deplorable conditions of a puppy mill. In addition, our investigations and emergency services teams fielded 52 calls for help with large scale situations (for ongoing investigations, setting up of emergency temporary shelters, transport, outreach, guidance in proceeding with cruelty or large-scale cases, testimony and case support) involving over 2893 animals in various situations of need.
