What it says it does
Formed in 1925, this club has been going strong for almost 100 years, funding and volunteering for worthy projects such as Learn-to-Swim, Learn-with-Me, Interact, and an International Youth Exchange program. Were also dedicated to supporting important projects around the world, such as eradicating polio from the planet! We award thousands of dollars each year to deserving local organizations through community grants, a teacher mini-grant program, and scholarships. Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (4)
- $89,520 spent. Community Grants - The program funds many worthwhile and needed projects throughout West County communities. Approximately 2/3 of the grants were educational in focus while the rest helped the community-at-large. Much of the funding for these grants comes from our annual gala event.
- $26,882 spent. Teacher Mini-Grant Program - The Program provides teachers in public and private schools across West Sonoma County School Districts with grants up to $500 for a wide variety of school projects. We fund scores of requests that include education tools, sports equipment, books, computer equipment and classroom materials. Mini-grants are available twice yearly during a fall and spring application period. Teacher Mini-Grants are funded by money raised at our annual Sebastopol Rotary Crab Feed in February.
- $49,410 spent. International Programs - The Foundation embraces Rotary Internationals commitment to world peace and the betterment of poor people around the globe. We commit both money and volunteer time, with some of our most meaningful and memorable projects being the work we have done with our own hands in some of the farthest corners of the world.
- $51,222 spent. Youth & Vocational Programs - The Foundation funds various worthy Youth & Vocational projects such as Overcoming Obstacles, Adopt A Family, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and Scholarships. We also volunteer in these programs.
