Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $225,183 spent. Unexpected economic consequences that resulted from large-scale federal workforce layoffs, many of whom were our donors, caused us to effect changes that successfully precluded its negative impact on our continued effectiveness in moving the intent and purpose of the organization forward.Utilizing the expertise of one of our former Board members a business owner-we were able to get the service of a full-time Executive Director well below market cost. And, by leveraging his increased knowledge and experience, atypical means of financial success was enhanced by accomplishing $20,655 in increased donations via the newly created Shortfall Level Up program. Maximizing increased social media skill enabled greater donations by our major fundraiser, the 10th Annual Prayer Breakfast, which resulted in a total revenue achievement in excess of $65,000.Additionally, the summer fundraiser Top Golf generated more than double the amount over 2024 with revenue realized of $10,995.Lastly, by offsetting the financial fallout that negatively impacted a percentage of our donors, for example we were only able to maintain 85% to 90% of our previous years Sustaining Parent donors, we nevertheless generated an increase over 2023 with revenue realized of $194,676.67.
