- 1. In 2025, Olive Tree International (OTI) successfully curated and hosted a series of five specialized webinars via Zoom, designed to bridge the gap between biblical history and modern-day missions. These sessions provided a platform for global experts to share critical insights with our community: * Geographic & Historical Context: 03/21/25, Elder Jerry Wang opened the year with a detailed reflection on "Visiting the Holy Land in 2024," providing contemporary context to sacred sites. * Missionary Preparation: 04/25/25 Rev. Abraham Chang and 09/19/25 Missionary Grace Lan delivered strategic sessions on the practicalities and spiritual urgency of " How to Prepare for Jewish Mission" & "Standing at the First Line" of Jewish missions. * Theological & Cultural Depth: 05/16/25 Rabbi Charlie Cohen's "The Faith of Olive Tree" & 07/11/25 Brother Ty Perry's "It is the Time to Stand with Israel" explored the roots of the faith and the ethical imperative for Christians to stand in solidarity with Israel.
- 2. On November 30, 2025, OTI celebrated a decade of ministry with a landmark Intercultural Thanksgiving Banquet at the Grand Dynasty Chinese Restaurant. This evening served as more than just a milestone celebration; it was a tangible manifestation of our mission: * Unity in Diversity: The event brought together 120 attendees, including a significant delegation of over 30 Messianic Jews from the Tsemach Adonai Congregation. * Fostering Fellowship: By sharing a meal and stories, the banquet successfully deepened the bonds of friendship between the Chinese Christian community and the Jewish people. * Strategic Outreach: The evening solidified long-term partnerships and provided a vibrant space for cross-cultural dialogue and mutual spiritual encouragement.
- 3. Recognizing that true allyship begins with understanding, OTI prioritized cultural immersion for its leadership team throughout the year. Our co-workers actively participated in traditional Jewish observances to gain first-hand experience of the heritage we support: * Pesach Seder: Six OTI representatives joined the Passover Dinner at Tsemach Adonai Congregation, engaging in the liturgical retelling of the Exodus to better understand the foundations of Jewish identity. * Hanukkah Celebration: Five co-workers attended the Hanukkah Dinner, celebrating the Festival of Lights and further strengthening our relational ties with local Jewish congregations. * Impact: These experiences have equipped our staff with a nuanced, respectful understanding of Jewish traditions, directly informing our outreach and education programs.
