Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $39,297 spent. Our mission is to further the teachings of Satguru Kodi Thatha in 2025 we supported our teachers in providing daily Puja's and classes. Both online and in person. Approximately 30 people participated in classes and worship at the Hermitage this year. And maybe 100 participated in the on-line class and worship offerings throughout the year. Classes (both online and in person) focused on deepening meditation practices, learning sacred ancient Hindu prayer rituals in Sanskrit and expanding understanding of ancient Hindu text. Our spiritual leaders also offered sacred Puja's to support our community during this year. Almost all our donations come from people participating in these classes or supporting the Puja's. Everything offered by and through the Hermitage and the Ashram is supported through donations only. SNC provided funds for spiritual teachers in India. SNC supported the ongoing upkeep & maintenance of the Hermitage and the Ashram.
