Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $27,096 spent. Climate Anxiety & Wildfire: Hosted listening sessions with over 40 attendees. Discussed fire preparedness and held space for individuals to grapple with the increasing fire-risk and environmental damage we see in Southern Oregon, giving language to the issues we face as the climate continues to change.
  2. $300 spent. Living With Climate Change in the Rogue Valley: The 10-week (formerly Master Climate Protector) course provided 15 community participants with understanding of the science of climate change and what we can do to address it. Many graduates have subsequently contributed to new and ongoing work in the community to address climate change. Now partnered with Southern Oregon University in odd numbered years, offered as ES 131.
  3. $1,925 spent. Community Outreach: These activities include monthly meetings, tabling at community events, communicating with elected officials and agencies, and providing science-based climate change information via social media. We have reached 632 individuals through monthly meetings and tabling. #of others reached are unknown.
