Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $77,900 spent. The annual symposium was successfully held as the 2025 Eastern Pacific Ocean Conference, which occurred September 21st through 24th, at Fallen Leaf Lake, CA. A four-day, all-inclusive symposium brought together 54 scientists and guests for dissemination and discussion of key scientific advances and ongoing study of the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Oral and poster presentations concerning applied and basic research on physical climate, ecology, and biogeochemistry were held, with attendees from US academic and agency-affiliated scientific institutions. The organization successfully organized the scientific sessions and schedule, advertised and coordinated the conference, booked the venue, collected payments from attendees, organized housing, and paid the conference center and associated costs.
