Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $436,980 spent. PMCFQH HELD SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS DURING FYE 2025. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED THE AVA SPEAK FROM THE HEART GALA, WITH PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE APPALACHIAN VALLEY AUTISM (AVA) CENTERS. THE AVA CENTERS PROVIDE SPECIALIZED THERAPY AND COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD). PIKEVILLE MEDICAL CENTER'S MULTIDISCIPLINARY AVA CENTER TEAMS OFFER FAMILIES UNPARALLELED EXPERTISE IN THE EARLY IDENTIFICATION, EVALUATION, AND TREATMENT OF AUTISM. BY RECOGNIZING THE EARLIEST SIGNS OF ASD, THE TEAM HELPS CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS WHILE PROVIDING EVIDENCE-BASED THERAPIES THAT PROMOTE GROWTH, COMMUNICATION, AND DEVELOPMENTAL SUCCESS. FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THE AVA SPEAK FROM THE HEART GALA HELP ENSURE THAT MORE CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER--WHOSE VOICES OFTEN GO UNHEARD--RECEIVE THE SPECIALIZED CARE THEY NEED CLOSE TO HOME. THESE CONTRIBUTIONS EXPAND ACCESS TO LIFE-CHANGING SERVICES, REDUCE BARRIERS TO CARE FOR FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE REGION, AND PROVIDE HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR CHILDREN LIVING WITH AUTISM.

THE ORGANIZATION HELD THE 10TH ANNUAL COLORS OF COURAGE 5K RUN/WALK IN DOWNTOWN PIKEVILLE, BRINGING TOGETHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS, PATIENTS, FAMILIES, AND SUPPORTERS IN A SHARED COMMITMENT TO FIGHTING CANCER.
