What it says it does

990EZ Part III-The organizations primary exempt purpose is to provide for the maintenance and upkeep of Websters Pond and to assist in helping other organizations involved with conservation and environmental stewardship upon request. Fundraising efforts will be directed to supporting events at the pond such as Veterans Fishing Day, Muscular Dystrophy Day, Aurora for the Blind School field trips and club visits. Funding can be sought for the attendance to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Camp to support educating children from ages 7-16 in Conservation Management and to provide scholarships to students studying conservation and environmental curriculum, such as Environmental Conservation Officer. Some projects we host fundraisers for are to rebuild dilapidated nature trails to make accessible for the handicapped, install plumbing and build a facility for public restrooms, Holiday themed nature walks and fundraising events and fishing tournaments.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.
