Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $3,000 spent. In 2024, the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators (UNIFFIED) celebrated a significant milestone- its 10th Anniversary- on May 25 in New York City. This landmark event brought educators, scholars, and community leaders across the United States and the Philippines to honor a decade of education, leadership, and service excellence. The celebration featured keynote speeches, cultural presentations, and tributes recognizing the contributions of founding leaders, pioneering members, and outstanding chapters. Throughout the year, UNIFFIED delivered high-impact programs, including PRC-accredited professional development webinars and in-person trainings focused on curriculum innovation, inclusive education, and educational leadership. The organization continued its Salindunong Project through a transformative 3-day virtual workshop, which equipped hundreds of educators with 21st-century strategies for inclusive and impactful teaching. UNIFFIED sustained its commitment to community service by supporting 25 Kalinga Scholars across the Philippines and organizing a holiday gift-giving campaign that provided school supplies and relief goods to underserved families. It also initiated a literacy book drive, sending approximately 45 boxes of books to schoolchildren in various parts of the Philippines. New leadership teams were inducted in Southern Arizona, Maryland, and North Carolina chapters, strengthening the organization's presence and commitment to regional development. The organization also expanded its collaborative efforts through meaningful partnerships, most notably with the Philippine Consulate General in support of educational and cultural initiatives benefiting the Filipino-American community. In preparation for the 2025 UNIFFIED International Educators Summit and Multidisciplinary Research Conference, the organization launched its international call for papers and expanded global academic partnerships. UNIFFIED also engaged in environmental and civic initiatives, notably joining the Earth Day of Action in collaboration with Assemblymember Steven Raga's office in Queens, New York. These accomplishments reflect UNIFFIED's unwavering dedication to its mission to lead, serve, and innovate, empowering educators, transforming communities, and shaping a brighter future for future generations.
