Programs described in its return (2)
- $81,613 spent. Sea Turtle Recovery has admitted a total of 187 sea turtle patients since opening in 2016. Proudly, of these 187 patients, 149 sea turtles have already recovered and been released back into the wild! These patients came from five states, including New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Delaware, and Virginia where facilities requested assistance.
- $21,080 spent. In addition to our rehabilitation efforts, Sea Turtle Recovery continues to believe in our mission to educate the public. STR visits schools, community organizations and community events to discuss our work and our patients. Our goal is to encourage citizens to create positive change in their homes and neighborhoods to benefit our environment.
