Fluff

What it says it does
FLUFF is a foster-based animal rescue organization. We primarily rescue orphaned kittens who are too young and need too much care to be in shelters or on the streets as well as kittens and cats in need of medical attention that shelters or other rescues are often unable to provide. We are not entirely a breed-specific rescue but we do focus our adult cat efforts on helping the very large in need Persian/Himilayan/Exotic Shorthair population.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (1)
- $46,591 spent. During the fiscal 2024-2025 year, FLUFF took 135 new kitties into the program and found homes for 117 kitties. We transferred two kitties to a sister foster who was better suited for them. Two remain in foster, and sadly, we lost eight to illness. Five of our kitties required serious medical care (>$,1000), and another six required care with costs between $500-$1,000. Our adoption fees are generally $200. Approximately 27 of our kitties had medical costs greater than the adoption fee.
