Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $11,524 spent. ARTS CLASSES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS
  2. $5,362 spent. GALLERY SALES FOR MEMBER ARTISTS
  3. $918 spent. PROVIDED FREE COMMUNITY ARTS EXPERIENCES
  4. $55,619 spent. SUPPORT EXPENSES FOR THE OPERATION OF THE COMMUNITY ARTS ORGANIZATION. IN ADDITION, THE SOMERSET ARTISTS CO-OP SERVED AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR THE DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY OF PERRY COUNTY FROM APRIL 1, 2025 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2025. THE LIBRARY WAS FUNCTIONING UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE LUDOWICI FOUNDATION BUT THE FOUNDATION DID NOT WANT THE PROCEEDS UNDER THEIR NONPROFIT STATUS. SO THE CO-OP AGREED TO SERVE AS THEIR FISCAL AGENT SO YOUTH WOULD CONTINUE TO RECEIVE FREE BOOKS, UNTIL THEY FORMED THEIR OWN NONPROFIT. NOTE ALL FUNDS WERE DEPOSITED IN A SEPARATE CHECKING ACCOUNT PER THE RULES OF THE DOLLY PARTON FOUNDATION AND THE CO-OP RECEIVED NO COMPENSATION FOR SERVING AS THE FISCAL AGENT, I.E. THE IMAGINATION LIBRARY OF PERRY COUNTY USED OUR EIN NUMBER (BANK REQUIRED) UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2025. THE CO-OP REPORTED THE INCOME (35,828.),UNDER PART I, LINE 1 AND REPORTED THE TRANSFER (35,828.) TO THEIR EIN NUMBER, UNDER OTHER EXPENSES.
