Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $60,859 spent. Our largest and only program is "Time to Heal". Time to Heal is a program designed to aid in deterring the devastating effects of traumatic experiences in particular those associated with parent/child separations. Included in the program are forums, mini-series and community outreach events and giveaways which are designed to market and advertise our programming efforts. There is also a monthly support group designed to keep former program participants engaged and informed. Our "Time to Heal" program has two components, they are as follows: 1. Beauty in the Chaos which is out workshop series that is generally conducted three times a year fall, winter and spring. The sessions consist of an activity, a meal preparation and an interactive topic dialogued. We have also instituted a podcast to this component entitled "Buty in the Kaos." 2. DOW which stands for "Developing Our Worth" which is our workforce development training piece. Participants are afforded an opportunity to train in a specific area in an attempt to garner the skills necessary to obtain and maintain gainful employment.
