Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  1. $28,190 spent. The STEM Marin Fund continued its mission in 2025 to expand and enhance STEM education opportunities for students through fundraising, program support, and experiential learning initiatives. During the year, the organization hosted its annual fundraising event, which brought together community members, educators, families, and local supporters to raise funds for STEM-focused educational programs. Proceeds from these efforts helped fund Engineering Capstone projects, enabling students to design, build, and present real-world engineering solutions, as well as Biotechnology end-of-year student projects that provided hands-on scientific research and collaborative learning experiences. In addition, the organization supported numerous educational field trips designed to expose students to STEM careers, universities, laboratories, and industry environments, helping deepen student engagement and inspire future academic and professional pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
