Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $102,585 spent. THE ACT FUND PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR BOTH PARENTS AND THE SCHOOL TO HELP FUND THE SALARIES FOR TEACHER ASSISTANTS. TEACHER ASSISTANTS FILL AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE CLASSROOM; THEY PROVIDED ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING, ASSIST WITH CLASSROM MANAGEMENT, PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANCE AND OFFER TEACHER SUPPORT IN ORDER TO BETTER INSTRUCT THE CHILDREN. THERE ARE MANY DEMANDS ON A CLASSROOM TEACHER AND HAVING AN ASSISTANT CAN HELP THE TEACHER IN MANY WAYS; BUT MOSTLY IT GIVES THE TEACHER THE OPPORTUNITY TO INSTRUCT AND SUPPORT THE CHILDREN IN SMALLER GROUPS BASED ON ACADEMIC LEVEL.
  2. $70,002 spent. THE PTO HAS CREATED AN IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVE TO ENHANCE THE SCHOOL. IN THE LAST YEAR, THE PTO CONTRIBUTED SCHOOL ENHANCEMENTS THAT INCLUDE TURF EXPANSION AND REPAIRS TO THE NORTH CAMPUS BATHROOMS.
