- $31,607 spent. We supported a growing network of 50 affiliated (but legally separate) chapters, supporting their efforts to design and implement sustainability-oriented projects on campuses, in communities, and abroad. Volunteer staff members had one on one calls with chapter leaders, hosted group calls on leadership approaches and project ideas, and provided other support, including workforce development materials.
- $27,970 spent. The ESW annual conference brings individuals from across the nation to speak on sustainable issues, projects, engineering problem solving, and more. Workshops and seminars offer an opportunity for attendees to learn more, grow in their knowledge and interface with leading experts in the field. Experts have come from renowned organizations like The Lemelson Foundation, Engineering for One Planet, ABET, Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, etc. Students from across chapters present on projects they have been working on - inspiring to students and professionals alike.
