This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $21,555 spent. Tutoring ProgramFoster children move around frequently. As a result, they fall behind in school. These frequent moves mean they are not preforming at their grade level and many times have large absence periods. Academic records do not always follow the child, so they are not always placed in a grade-appropriate environment nor are they provided resources to catch up. Rose Again Foundation partners with local community organizations that provide private tutoring. Through the financial support of our generous donors, we are able to pay for private tutoring, enable the children to get caught up academically, and provide the opportunity for them to excel.
  2. $38,828 spent. Kids Soar ProgramExtracurricular Activities provide a healthy outlet for the pain, trauma, and anger foster children carry with them. Rose Again Foundation provides financial assistance for foster children to participate in extracurricular activities including sports, music, arts, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), Scouts, Clubs, and day or week camps. These activities provide opportunities for kids to just to be kids, and to relearn healthy relationships with peers and coaches.
  3. $45,694 spent. Emergency/New Placement Gifting ProgramFoster children placed in a new foster home arrive with little to nothing but the clothes on their backs. Rose Again Foundation personally shops and provides new clothes, shoes, undergarments, and hygiene items. Within forty-eight to seventy-two hours of application submittal, we arrange delivery. In addition to personalized items, we provide linen, comfort items such as teddy bears or journals, blankets, diapers, and basic everyday essentials.
