Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $104,936 spent. Training and practice for youth swimmers. Sessions are in a rented facility with team employed professional coaching staff. Sessions are provided year round 4 - 5 days a week with 3 to 4 coaches present. Our team has about 70 to 85 swimmers throughout the year.
  2. $34,376 spent. Competing at and hosting USA Swimming Swim Meets. Swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming Organization, pay entry fees to participate and have coaches present. Attended 10 meets with our swimmers participating in over 1000 individual events. We hosted 2 meets which requires specialized equipment and more paid staff to host.
  3. $20,576 spent. Providing a community for youth to grow as swimmers. Community is grown by providing swimmers basic equipment necessities to help lower the burden of entering the sport and by supporting events to gather such as town halls, birthday celebrations and maintaining communications. These events and support are available to the swimmers and their families.
