Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $162,155 spent. Commissioning composers and other artistic collaborators--many of whom represent communities and perspectives that have been traditionally underserved by the classical music establishment--is our organization's largest program service. Composers like M. Lamar, Pamela Z, Ellen Fullman, and Raven Chacon were commissioned and paid artist fees to create and perform work with The Living Earth Show. Collaborators in other media included performance artists, filmmakers, and visual artists.
  2. $128,624 spent. The Living Earth Show presented performances of challenging, urgent, innovative works of multidisciplinary art across the United States, from San Francisco to Austin to Maine to Michigan and beyond. The organization collaborated with universities, museums, and performing arts centers to allow access to new works that reflect and respond to our world.
  3. $57,795 spent. The Living Earth Show also created structure to produce and distribute its collaborators' work to the widest possible audience. Booking support with contracted agents Blu Ocean Arts allowed The Living Earth Show's collaborators to achieve a larger and more diverse audience base than ever before in the organization's history.
