Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $28,325 spent. 1. Gift Gardens: The Gift Gardens are a community initiative with the purpose of combatting food insecurity in St. Augustine and surrounding communities. All that we grow, we gift to others. We have four Gift Gardens in St. Augustine: one at the Webster School in West Augustine, one in Lincolnville Community Garden, beds at Ketterlinus Elementary School, and Mindful Solutions. Produce harvested from the gardens is distributed by our partner EPIC-CURE. 2. Purple Bench: Advocates for compassion, empathy and understanding within the community and from those businesses and organizations that are a part of its infrastructure. The Purple Bench initiative was formed to challenge the community to engage in compassionate practices despite different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, and views. In a world divided by polarizing opinions, it is increasingly important to find common ground to help those in need. 3. Compassionate Women: Compassionate Women fosters inclusivity and unity amongst women of all ethnicities and backgrounds and extends compassionate assistance to communities in need. Every month, our diverse group of women gather to share a meal, celebrate our diversity, and cultivate a multicultural haven of compassion, civility, and tolerance through public advocacy, education, and hands-on initiatives.
