Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Assisted the Alta Firewise Community with over 100 hours of service to reduce vegetation by thinning and burning. Cost to the organization was all volunteer so no funds were expended.
  2. Assisted the local Resource Conservation District CalFire and the Alta Dutch Flat School in identifying additional methods to reduce vegetation in large areas to minimize the fire risk for the community. Cost to the association was all volunteer so no funds were expended. Equipment to assist with this has been identified and work is progressing on grant funding with a possible matching funds grant for which the Association can likely assist.
  3. Reduction of fire hazard for the Alta Dutch Flat Elementary School in the amount of 100 hours volunteered so not cost to the association was incurred and no funds were expended for this project.
