- $357,538 spent. In 2024, Parish Collective continued advancing its mission to connect people to be the Church in their neighborhoods. Through our national learning communities, gatherings, and storytelling initiatives, we helped congregations across the country rediscover their calling to join God's renewing work right where they live.Key Achievements Through the Grounded Faith Initiative, a partnership with Whitworth University's Office of Church Engagement, we supported four active city cohorts--Seattle, Spokane, San Diego, and Chicago--representing 19 congregations, 71 ministry leaders, and 211 young adults. These cohorts gathered for local immersions that combined theological reflection, neighborhood walks, storytelling, and shared practices of discernment to explore how to join God's dreams in their places. Participants launched eight new "Seeds" projects--grassroots, neighborhood-level experiments in belonging, formation, and faithful innovation. Beyond these cohorts, Parish Collective convened national and regional gatherings such as Cultivate San Diego and Inhabit 2024, bringing together hundreds of leaders to celebrate an catalyze neighborhood-rooted ministry and collaborative renewal. Our monthly virtual gatherings--Fellowship Hall and Coffee Break Conversations--created consistent rhythms of connection for over 50 congregations nationwide, fostering encouragement, peer learning, and relational support. Parish Collective continued to play a key convening role in broader networks including the Thriving Neighborhoods Network (20 collaborating organizations) and the Flourishing Neighborhoods Group (93 collaborators), advancing the field of place-based faith and community renewal. Our storytelling initiatives shared over 25 stories of neighborhood-rooted faith and renewal, reaching an audience of more than 2,500 readers each month and amplifying the voices of everyday neighbors, leaders, and congregations embodying hope in their local contexts.Impact SummaryThrough these initiatives, Parish Collective provided formation, resources, and connection for pastors, lay leaders, young adults, and community practitioners working to renew local life across the U.S. The result is a growing movement of congregations organizations, and individuals who are faithfully imagining Church in this new era.
