CIC PROVIDES A LIBRARY OF BLUEPRINTS (THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS TO BE COPIED) AND ACTS AS A CENTRAL LOCATION FOR PRIME CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, MATERIAL SUPPLIERS, ETC. TO CONNECT TO PROVIDE FOR OPTIMAL COMPETITIVE PRICING ON A GIVEN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. THIS BENEFITS THE INDUSTRY AND THE PUBLIC BY CONSTRUCTING BETTER BUILDINGS FOR LESS MONEY.
- CIC PROVIDES INFORMATION ON COMPETITIVE BIDDING OPPORTUNITIES. THE OGLALA SIOUX TRIBE TERO OFFICE MAKES USE OF THE PUBLICATION TO MONITOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ON THE RESERVATION FOR PROPER EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES.
- RECOGNIZING THE NEED FOR A CONTINUED STRONG WORKFORCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY, CIC COMMITS UP TO $6,000/YEAR IN SCHOLARSHIP MONIES TO ASSIST AND ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITIES WHO HAVE CHOSEN TO STUDY A FIELD IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
