What it says it does
Vets Helping Vets HQ supports United States military veterans, their dependents, and family members in accessing benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. We focus on assisting veterans with disability compensation claims related to service-connected injuries and conditions. In addition, we help veterans navigate the wide range of benefits available at the federal, state, and local levels. Our third core mission is custodianship of The Wall of Honor, a traveling memorial that pays tribute to service members who lost their lives during the Global War on Terrorism. We arrange for its display multiple times per year including volunteer docents while it is on display.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.
